The Leeds Trinity Lions cricket team are gearing up ahead of their season opener in April.
The Lions will compete in the BUCS Cricket Northern 3B division, as they look to build on last season’s third place finish.
I spoke to members of the Lions’ squad to see what their thoughts were on the upcoming season, and to see if they could make home advantage count this year, with the Lions returning to their permanent home of the Horsforth Cricket Club.

The FA Cup returned this weekend, with the third round seeing the arrival of the so-called ‘big boys’ entering the world’s most famous competition.
