With just two play-off finals left to play at Wembley this year, the 2016/17 EFL season is drawing to a close. This season has seen plenty of goals and great drama across all three divisions, with both the Championship and League Two leaving the title race and relegation fight until the last game. HOUGHTON: “Doncaster will always have a place in my heart”

Jordan Houghton signed for Doncaster Rovers in August 2016 on loan from Premier League giants Chelsea. As part of their academy, he helped them to win the FA Youth Cup in 2014. He scored in the dramatic second leg at Stamford Bridge, as the Blues won 5-3 on the night and 7-6 on aggregate, having been 6-4 down with less than 15 minutes to play. League main focus for Imps, but no reason for Cup not to work its magic

If you’d have said to a Lincoln City fan at the beginning of the season that they’d be top of the National League, in the Semi-Finals of the FA Trophy, and would have a place in the Quarter-Finals of the world’s biggest club competition, the FA Cup, chances are they’d have laughed in your face. However, this is now reality for the Imps, and they might just be starting to dream.
